The 42nd Bailey Family Reunion will be hosted in the beautiful sunny city of St. Augustine, Florida on July 11th - July 13th. This years family reunion is being hosted by the Jacksonville Committee.
The great city of St. Augustine is on the northeast coast of Florida. It lays claim to being the oldest city in the United States and is known for its Spanish colonial architecture as well as Atlantic Ocean beaches like the sandy St. Augustine Beach and its tranquil Crescent Beach. It includes the Anastasia State Park that is a protected wildlife sanctuary and the Castillo de San Marcos that is a 17th-century Spanish stone fortress with views of the St. Augustine Inlet.
The Vilano Beach in St. Augustine is known for its sandy Atlantic shoreline and a fishing pier stretching into the Tolomato River. Casual beach grills, pizza places, and marina surround the pier, which is marked by the Bluebird of Happiness, a restored vintage statue. The Vilano Beach Nature Boardwalk, runs through the wetlands near the Francis
and Mary Usina Bridge, that features mosaic art of local wildlife. Additional attractions include the Fountain of Youth Archaeology Park, San Sebastian Winery Tour & Tasting, Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum, Escape U - Adventure Games & Escape Rooms, including Downtown St. Augustine.
St. Augustine is renowned for its fresh, locally sourced seafood and the area offers a variety of delicious options from shrimp and oysters to grouper and mahi-mahi. The diverse culinary scene includes authentic Spanish tapas, hearty Italian pastas, spicy Caribbean dishes, and savory Southern barbecue.
